SAOImageDS9 is a astronomical imaging and data visualization application. DS9 provides support for FITS images, binary tables, multiple frame buffers, region manipulation, and colormaps display options

Set-up
To configure your environment for use of DS9, run the following command:
module load ds9. The default version will be loaded. To select a particular DS9 version, use module load ds9/version . For example, use module load ds9/7.8.3to load DS9 7.8.3.Usage on Pitzer
