Login Issues with my.osc.edu
Some users may be experiencing issues logging into my.osc.edu, even when using the correct credentials.

Partial Owens nodes will be unavailable from July 29, 2024, to August 6, 2024, due to power changes in preparation for the Cardinal installation. This outage won't affect any running batch jobs, but users may experience longer queue wait time on Owens. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We have scheduled a Slurm database repair, which is planned to start at 8:30 am US/Eastern on Thursday, January 25, 2024. During the repair, Slurm database will be offline; running jobs and OnDemand jobs will not be affected; any jobs using the '--clusters/-M' flag will receive errors; commands including sacct
will be unavailable.
The anticipated duration of the outage is expected to be up to 2 hours.

There are currently issues with the Frame Renderer (Maya) interacitve app in ondemand.osc.edu

OSC clients can't log into globus.org with OSC credentials.
OSC will shut down significant portions of the Owens and Pitzer clusters for several hours this afternoon (Thursday, Feb. 10).
Apps through OnDemand (ondemand.osc.edu) can't be launched successfully.
There is a scheduled outage for XDMOD tool (xdmod.osc.edu) between 9AM-4PM June 2 2021 for upgrading to 9.5.0.

OSC's starccm software license will expire at 12 a.m., Sunday, Feb 21, 2021, making the software unavailable until the license is renewed.
