The core and node labels on the Classroom app (class.osc.edu) incorrectly displays as '0', regardless of the requested number of cores for a job. While this label is incorrect, the job is still allocated the correct number of cores as intended. We are actively addressing this issue and plan to deploy a fix later.

On December 17, 2024, Abaqus, Ansys, LS-DYNA, and Star-CCM+ will be fully migrated from the Owens cluster to the Cardinal cluster. After this date, these applications will no longer be available on Owens and will only be accessible on Cardinal. Please ensure any necessary transitions are completed before the deadline. For migration assistance, please email oschelp@osc.edu.
OnDemand has been updated to Version 3.1.9 to ensure that user shell sessions will now automatically timeout after 8 hours regardless of activity. This update addresses an issue where SSH sessions could remain active beyond the token expiration time to comply with token expiration policies. If you encounter any interruptions to your workflow due to this change, please do not hesitate to reach out to us via email at oschelp@osc.edu.
