Tammi Hysell is the Grants and Contracts Management Analyst at the Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC). In her role, she is responsible for directing the daily administrative functions and office operations for the OSC administration. She also supports OSC’s grant proposal submissions and award management.
Additional responsibilities for Hysell include operational and logistical oversight of OSC’s participation in HPC industry conferences, events (such as the COSI Big Science Celebration and Ohio State Fair), and OSC’s Summer Institute programs for middle- and high- school students. Hysell also manages OSC’s vendor relationships and procurement processes.
Prior to joining OSC, Hysell spent over 15 years in the private sector leading marketing and client services teams. She held key roles at idegy, inc. as Vice President of Client Services & Marketing; Academy Sports + Outdoors as Senior Director, Retail Marketing Promotions; IMG (Ohio State Sports Marketing) as Director, Client Services, Fulfillment & Administration; and Office Depot as Director, Retail Marketing & Sponsorships. Throughout her career, she has led strategic planning, developed marketing programs and negotiated strategic vendor agreements.
Hysell received a bachelor’s degree in sports management with a concentration in marketing and a minor in criminal justice from the University of Dayton in 1994.
