Workshop: Introduction to Cardinal Cluster

OSC will host a webinar on "Introduction to Cardinal Cluster" on Thursday April 24, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. It will take place in a hybrid format, with in-person components at our Ohio Technology Consortium facility in Columbus. 

Registration is free and will open soon through our registration portal. OSC has free, on-site parking and is conveniently located on the west campus of The Ohio State University.

  • Who should attend this class: Researchers interested in OSC’s newest HPC cluster, Cardinal deployed in 2024. 
  • Participants will learn: How to connect to Cardinal; Why to connect to Cardinal; How to best use the new cluster
  • Prerequisites: You are assumed to know how to connect to OSC as well as how to utilize the basic tools available (OnDemand, jobs, etc)
  • Method of delivery: in-person and via Teams. Slide presentation, hands-on exercises, and open discussion

The slides will be distributed via email prior to the workshop.
