Looking for the Other Cause
If you look across the lines in the original data table for the samples that were outliers, you should be able to find some exceptional differences in the water pollution or land use variables that are the possible cause of the deviation. Look for that now. What do you find?
How would you explain the two relationships you just found about this stream?
What is you do the same thing with the DO probe? What does that tell you?
Now open the spreadsheet for your watershed and start being a detective to discover the places where it is in good condition and bad condition and why.
